Our Classes
(All group classes are 50 minutes)
Fundamental Reformer
This is the class for you if you are completely new to the Reformer. By familiarising yourself with the equipment, you’ll begin to understand the key principles of Pilates, as the teacher guides you through the class.
Learning how to connect to your core, and understanding breathing techniques will really help your practice and ensure you are moving efficiently as you progress. However, If you have already experienced an Intro class elsewhere, you can book straight into an Essential class, or, a Return to Fitness class if you are dealing with an injury or back complaint.
Essential Reformer
Levels 1 and 2
Our signature class. It caters to all levels and abilities, where you will work on the principles of Pilates with a focus on learning good technique and quality of movement.
You can expect to improve flexibility and core strength while focusing on the importance of good mind/body connection.
These classes are great for anybody looking for a full body workout.
Dynamic Reformer
Levels 2+
Taking the benefits of a well rounded Reformer Class and stepping up the challenge. This is a faster paced class with higher reps and quicker transitions.
You need a good understanding and experience of Reformer Pilates to take this class, and if you are carrying an injury, you must be able to manage it accordingly.
Sculpt Reformer
A fusion style jumpboard class designed to tone and strengthen the body. The class will be taught working specific muscle groups moving from lower to upper body, with core focused movements combining contemporary Pilates. Using elements of barre, small pieces of equipment and Pilates jumpboards to add in bursts of cardio to your workout.
You must have experienced at least one Introduction or Essential style class first before attending.
Return to Fitness Reformer
This class is intended for those who are recovering from an injury, just starting exercise, or may have some movement restrictions, such as limited mobility. The class is also suitable for pregnancy or the post natal client.
These classes are intentionally slower paced to focus on mindful movement and good posture, which help to build confidence and above all, to enjoy the habit of Pilates.
However it doesn’t mean it’s an easy class! When movement is controlled and intentional, the more your muscles have to work. Combined with flexibility exercises, you’ll leave class feeling taller and more energised.
1:1 Private & Duet Sessions
Private 1:1 lessons with a teacher gives you a specifically tailored session focusing on your needs and goals. They are great for rehab, pregnancy or any previous or ongoing injuries.
They are also better suited to people who prefer to work 1 on 1 than in a group.
Private sessions are available on request - please get in touch. Where possible we will aim to accommodate your chosen date/time preference.
